Music in the key of Blade Runner
« on: January 07, 2009, 10:40:48 pm »
and what the heck does that mean you wonder ??

Exactly what I tried to mean ;)

Music by other artists then Vangelis that sounds and/or would fit in the Blade Runner movie.

One great example of this is The Colour Of The Fire by Boards Of Canada

Do you have an example ??

I never hear nothing of them....  ::)

But... finding some artist in the mood of BR could be difficult... I guess.

WOW! I've watched the videoclip....  :crazy2:

I've listen the audio clip too....  :crazy2:

But... I cannot connect it with Blade Runner in any way! Perhaps with other psicodelia movies, but not BR....  :buck2:
Perhaps the full theme could be better than these little intros... I guess...

Im not sure why but I think it could fit perfectly, with the lyrics. It sounds like something artificial trying to tell you that it loves you.

Audiowise I think that , lit's close enough to Vangelis BR soundscheme so to me it's a close enough track, I wont go with any music made by Vangelis thou (I consider that cheating ;))

Even thou I must say that there are some Vangelis tracks that would fit perfectly in BR, just click on the Fan Creations in the menu and click on Wekurtz.. Wow  8)

I'd say just about anything by Tangerine Dream would have worked.

I would bet they were an option at the time.

"Sorceror" and "The Keep" are two great examples of Tangerine Dream's soundtracks.
(Also two great films!)
Don't Panic!
