Replicants: It's About The Hats
« on: September 05, 2010, 06:53:39 pm »
I am in the "Deckard is a replicant" camp. A recent convert, but a convert I am.

Something I have missed is any discussion about the rain and how humans and replicants deal with it differently. Posted a longer version here: http://sukiproject.blogspot.com/2010/08/replicants-dont-wear-hats.html

Basically, no known replicant ever wears a hat in the rain, but humans do to protect their more delicate skin from acid rain.

Even Rachael, with her "no expire date" extended lifespan, never wears a hat to protect her perfect skin and hair from the rain.  It is only a natural human concern.

Some of the others suspected of being replicants who do wear hats, I am not convinced yet of them. I need more evidence than the eye-flash data point.
