The Home Theater Forum website had an open chat session together with people from Warner Bros. on the 22’nd of April 2003 and anyone could ask questions. One of the questions asked was user MikeF whom wanted to know a bit more on what’s going on with the upcomming Blade Runner “Special Edition” DVD.. So, here’s the latest official words concerning this matter
MikeF: Forgive me if this has been asked, I just got here. What is the current status of the upcoming Blade Runner DVD set?
Warner: BLADE RUNNER will happen, but there are legal hurdles to overcome. We want it just as much as you do. Stay tuned.
So, there you have it.. Still “legal pesky problems” to clear out.
